Prehistoric Pit is a bullet heaven roguelite with voxel graphics. The player controls one of nine dinosaurs in an arena that fills with waves of Ice Age mammals, while weapons fire automatically. Between waves the player picks upgrades, limited to four weapon slots per run. Every weapon evolves into a second form at level 30 with its matching relic. A run lasts about 30 minutes across volcanic stages. Each dinosaur has its own exclusive starting weapon, active ability and passive; eight of them are unlocked through in-run challenges.
